Call Us

Culberson County is a county in the state of Texas that was founded in 1911. It is named after David B. Culberson, a lawyer, and soldier in the American Civil War. The county spans an area of 3,813 square miles, almost exclusively land. Access to water for many of the just over 2,000 residents is only available through water wells.

A water well is a structure that provides access to water from underground aquifers. Water wells are constructed by digging a hole into the ground, simply stated. There is more to it than that, however. A casing is used to keep the hole open and prevent leakage from surrounding things. Grout is used as a sealant to prevent contaminants from entering the well. A screen is used to prevent dirt, stone, and sand out of the well. It is a complex construction project that should only be left to professionals.
